Location: Remote anywhere in Canada

Canadians depend on reliable connectivity to participate fully in today's economy and society. Across the country, independent communications providers play a critical role in ensuring that communities, particularly those beyond major urban centres, have access to the television, broadband, and telephone services they rely upon every day. Representing these providers at the national level, the Canadian Communication Systems Alliance (CCSA) is the collective voice of more than 95 independent companies serving over half a million Canadians. Through strategic advocacy, industry collaboration, and collective purchasing initiatives, CCSA works to create a regulatory and business environment that enables its members to grow, compete, and continue delivering essential services to their communities.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director serves as the organization's principal advisor on regulatory and public policy matters to the CEO, Board of Directors, and member companies while helping shape CCSA's strategic direction and national advocacy agenda. You will represent the interests of independent communications providers before the CRTC, government, and other regulatory bodies, while monitoring emerging legislative and policy developments that shape Canada's broadcasting and telecommunications sectors. As a member of the leadership team, you will also contribute to organizational planning and governance initiatives, including supporting the Board and its committees in your capacity as Corporate Secretary.
