CCSA Announces Rebrand to Canadian Communication Systems Alliance

Quispamsis (NB), May 1, 2018 - The Canadian Cable Systems Alliance today announced the association’s rebrand to the ‘Canadian Communication Systems Alliance’, replacing the word ‘Cable’ in its company name with ‘Communication’.  This comprehensive rebrand, which includes a new logo, new email domain and upcoming new website, reflects the association’s forward focus as it both celebrates its 25th Anniversary and collectively embraces the future of the Canadian communications industry.

“As announced at our September 2017 conference, the decision to update our name is driven by our increasinglydiverse membership and the technologies they use,” said Jay Thomson, CEO of the CCSA. “As the Canadian Cable Systems Alliance, we built a strong foundation over our first 25 years of more than 100 independent providers of internet, television and telephone services across the country. Our new name, Canadian Communication Systems Alliance, speaks to the breadth of members we now represent and the communities all across the country that they serve.”
